Collaborating on a Custom Piece

Every piece of art I create at Reflections Art Studio begins with a conversation. Because custom work is a deeply personal investment, my process is entirely consultative, collaborative, and pressure-free. I want the experience of building your piece to be just as rewarding as the final artwork itself.  Here is how we bring your vision to life.

1. The Initial Conversation
It all starts when you reach out. We will connect directly to discuss your ideas, exploring both your artistic vision and the functional needs of the piece. Whether you have a precise design in mind or just a rough concept, this low-key conversation helps us find the perfect direction.  Our discussions' can be in person, in FaceTime/Zoom, e-mai; or over the phone.

2. The Design & Proposal
Once I have a clear understanding of what you are looking for, I will draft a formal Sales Agreement. This document outlines the exact specifics of your project—including dimensions, materials, timeline, and pricing. Depending on the complexity of the piece, I often include a priminary drawing or layout so you can visualize the final result.

3. Creating Your Piece
After you review the agreement and give the green light, the hands-on work begins. I handcraft each piece with meticulous attention to detail, balancing structural integrity with artistic expression. I will keep you updated as the project progresses from raw materials to a finished work of art.
