Defiance !

Under a relentless, blazing sun stands a solitary tree. Stained glass has a unique power to evoke deep emotion, and this piece began during a time when I felt entirely desolated. Originally, the tree was bare and lifeless, reflecting that heavy internal landscape.

But art has the power to heal and change focus.  Listening to my loved ones, I realized desolation was the wrong message to put into the world.  I chose Defiance.  I added vibrant green peridot leaves  to the branches.

The tree now stands fully alive, stubbornly resisting the harsh environment around it. Defiance is a testament to resilience in a barren world.
